From the AGM of British IARF at Croydon on 18 May 2013, the big news is the announcement of the 2014 IARF Congress.
The August 2014 Congress of the International Association for Religious Freedom (IARF) will be held at the University of Birmingham, U.K. The theme will be RELIGIOUS FREEDOM, GLOBALISM AND THE DIGITAL AGE (exact title still to be approved). As a “warm-up” to August 2014, you are invited to RELIGIOUS FREEDOM AND RESPONSIBILITY, 20-23 August 2013 at Horsham, West Sussex (20 minute train ride south of London Gatwick Airport). Guji Yamamoto, chief Priest of Tsubaki Grand Shrine, Japan, and WCF President Dr. Marcus Braybrooke will be lead off Tuesday Afternoon They will be followed Israel Night with Dr. Shlomo Alon and Dr. Yehuda Stolov who lead Interfaith Dialogue in Israel. Speakers and discussion leaders from Europe. America, India, and England will be joined by the Bishop of Arundel and Brighton in speaking on Religious Freedom struggles. Following lunch at Worth Abbey, Ireland will the theme of the closing programme with Rev Chris Hudson MBE, minister of All Souls Church, Belfast.
